Mother's Day is such a special day and I really enjoy reflecting on the amazing things my mother does as a woman, friend, and mother. So I always enjoy that part of Mother's Day. However, yesterday we got a phone call early on in the day that my 12 year old niece's father passed away throughout the night Saturday night. My sister was married to him for one short year but he has always been a very big part of my niece's life and they have had a very close relationship. Death always makes you put your life into perspective. On any day and at any given time you can have a loved one taken from you. It really made me realize how much I take all my close friends and family for granite. This is a hard time for my sister and her daughter's and for his family, so just please keep them in your prayers.

Oh Iam so sorry to hear the sad news. We will keep you and everyone in our prayers. Please let us know if we can do anything for you and your family.
I'm really sorry to hear about mike my mom told me about it on sunday. I texted kara to let her know I'm here for her & to tell her about the counseling place that I used to take Court & Cody after Steve died.
I really think it helped them alot and it's just for kids and it's free. They also have a support group for parents that meets while the kids are in there group meetings. It's really layed back and they never push the kids to talk or express if they don't want to & it's all kids that have lost a parent to death. By sickness or suicide, it seemed like there were more kids there that had lost a parent to suicide than sickness it's really sad. but they get to be around kids that understand what they are going through and they can relate to each other where normal friends say they understand what they're going through they really don't because they have both there parents. Any way I was really sad to hear it and really sad for the girls I know what it's like for kids to loose a parent. If any of you need me I'm here for you Love Ya.
