*Warning: you may not want to read if you haven't seen the movie and plan to.

-Edward was such a let down... he was not my beautiful Edward I had pictured in my head.

-I'm so glad I read the book first (if I wouldn't have I'm not sure I would've even wanted to after seeing the movie)

-What was up with the scene where Bella see's Edward in the sun for the first time? Wasn't that supposed to take place in the middle of the meadow, the same meadow they play baseball in?

-Did anyone else feel like they were watching a comedy? Everyone around me was laughing through the whole thing.

-Overeall it was an okay movie but didn't quite live up to my expectations, but I kind of figured it wouldn't. How could it?

Amen, Sister! i was totally disappointed with the movie. I DID laugh a LOT... but only because I was making fun of it. For example, when Bella sits by Edward in class... his face was HiLaRiOuS! I HATED the way they depicted the shimmering skin... NOT believable for me! I WISH they would've put a little more of the development of the romance, instead of them hating each other one second, then Loving each other the next. I LOVED that part of the book, and they skipped it all together. I must say it WAS enjoyable and entertaining, just a LOT better in my head!

I agree as well, I thought the movie was OK. I think they spent too much time on the beginning and too little on the middle and end. I felt like Edward and Bella acted too awkward around each other that it was almost annoying. I do agree though that the things that they changed in the movie (like the meadow scene) were some of the best parts of the book and they just skipped over them. I hate when they change things, especially when it is unnecessary and it was better the way it was in the book. Anyway, I'm sure we could all go on and on about how it SHOULD have been. :)

haha! Ok, so I guess that I am not the ONLY one who didn't GUSH over it and LOVE the movie whole heartedly! Yahoo for you girls! Thanks for sharing my disspointment in the movie. I too was really dissapointed in the shimmery skin part, as well as the phoney aweful white-faced makeup that they put on the Cullens to make them look more like vampires. I guess that it is true that books turned into movies have the hardest critics, because she built the story of bella and edward up soooo much in the book, that when she put it into a movie, it truly was dissapointing!
